Based in Waltham Abbey we are an independent firm of Chartered Management Accountants and Business Advisors. Our client base is varied and ranges from private clients through to larger companies covering many industry sectors.

We are Chartered Management Accountants and place great emphasis on the Management Accounting aspect of the business. Our Approach

Apple Accounting have a very flexible approach to our client’s needs. We offer more than the routine annual reporting function.

Our expertise lies in assisting businesses throughout the year, meeting with management, providing up to date information and advice on how to move the business forward. We are dedicated to providing all of our clients with the first class, professional service that every business deserves.

Apple Accounting take a hands-on approach to our clients. We are not the kind of accountants who will speak to you once a year, or pass you onto a junior member of staff when you need real business advice – our directors like to tackle our clients’ concerns head-on.

The two Directors of the business are Paul McKay BA (Hons) Econ. FCMA CGMA and Aynsley Ball MAAT FCCA.

Paul McKay BA (Hons) Econ. FCMA CGMA

Paul McKay started the business in 2004 having previously worked in industry. With a background of working for owner managed companies, Paul has vast experience in reporting to Directors and has carried that on within practice.

A Chartered Management Accountant, Paul likes to plan and attend regular meetings with his clients, keeping them up to date with how their company is performing and how the company can improve its profitability.

Paul will also meet with clients whenever draft or final Annual Accounts have been prepared, to discuss any issues business owners may have face to face. Paul tries to always be available for contact on either landline, mobile or email at all times, to assist clients with any business matters throughout the year.

Outside of work, Paul is an avid sports fan and a keen golfer. He is also a glory hunter – a Liverpool fan born 200 miles from Liverpool!

Aynsley Ball MAAT FCCA

Aynsley Ball is a Chartered Certified Accountant and a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. Alongside his role as Director Aynsley oversees our bookkeeping and payroll departments. Aynsley is on hand to provide complex technical support to clients with regard to VAT, Workplace Pensions, CIS and Payroll.

Like Paul, Aynsley also worked in industry for owner-managed companies until he set up his own practice in 2003. Aynsley has the ability to discuss accounting matters in a clear and concise manner which is well received by clients.

Outside of work Aynsley enjoys listening to his vast vinyl collection, much to the disdain of his family. He is also a loyal Spurs fan who can regularly be found on the terraces of White Hart Lane, be that football or NFL.
